The entire house has been refurbished but done in a traditional way. The house is full of fine furniture, set in its own grounds, the rooms are cosy and the dining room is very grand, perfect for long meals with good friends and family. This is a perfect house to meet up with old friends, to share some time together and relax in comfort.
The house keeper was very friendly and told me about the area and helped inform me of what to see and do during my stay. The owner is very welcoming; he let my boys see his birds of prey and I have photos of them on the wall in my office.
Would I choose to day here for a full holiday? Of course, and there is so much to see here that I could come many times over. |
