The Trust House - The house itself was built in 1605 and still retains its stone vaulted ceilings and old stone fireplaces. Carefully restored and modernised with fine craftsmenship throughout, the house is full of antique furniture and interesting historical objects. Lower Apartment accommodation:
Drawing Room - 3 windows and 2 large sofas (one converting to a double bed) along with two large armchairs, widescreen TV / DVD, desk and chair, fax./telephone and wireless broadband unit. There are two ancient fireplaces one containing a real flame gas fired stove.
Kitchen - A well equipped Kitchen with plenty of workspace, Twin oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, plenty of glasses and crockery.
Breakfast Area - Just outside the kitchen is a breakfast area, ideal for planning all the things you are going to do during the day.
Formal Dining Room - This is one of the most interesting rooms, Vaulted ceiling, long wooden dining table with seating for 8, and some historical American wall hangings decorate the stone walls.
Master Bedroom - King-size four poster double bed with desl, chairs and 2 windows.This bedroom has a vaulted ceiling.
Dressing Room - The master bedroom has a dressing room within which is a single bed
Vaulted Bathroom - has a free-standing bath tub, walk-in shower with overhead and body jets, large basin, heated towel rail and wc.
Upper Apartment :
Drawing Room - Bright and airy room with 2 large sofas (one converting to a double bed), widescreen TV / DVD / home cinema surround sound and ancient fireplace
Kitchenette - A well equiped but small Kitchenette, Electric double oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, plenty of glasses and crockery.
Dining Area - In the centre of the apartment, lit by natural light ceiling lantern.
Twin Bedroom - looks out onto the quiet courtyard at the back of the house. Dressing room off, and door leading directly to the
Bathroom - Antique cast iron bath, overhead power shower, basin and heated towel rail. Adjoining wc with washing machine and tumble dryer.
All costs like linen, heating, lighting, towels, cots, high chairs are supplied and are are included in the price.
